@nix9786 had a similar problem as @Onur Can KARAMAN - ASO I think. He wrote me this:
Hello Jermuk, I am writing to you regarding the OEE dashboard using UMH, where I am not able to get the oee metric show any data. It would be helpful if you can review what I am doing wrong and guide me to get oee working
I am in pacific timezone
please let me know a suitable time for you and I can send you a Teams invite. Please also let me know your email
@Ferdinand Can you provide a quick tutorial on how to quickfix the OEE thing (I assume others will have the same problem)
creating a new thread
n
I tried simulating data required for metrics like state of machine, count via node-red but I don't see "oee" metric in grafana showing data
may be if anyone has a node-red flow file that can generate data to show oee in grafana dashboards, would be awesome @Jermuk @Ferdinand
j
it is actually a UI bug, we have to wait until Monday until @Ferdinand can provide the quickfix. I know he fixed it for others and it will be in the next ersion as well
o
@nix9786 If you want I can post all my node -red flows. Some variables are in Turkish. I think you can understand but what they are.

@nix9786 unfortunately, @Ferdinand got sick before we had time to discuss exactly how to fix the issue. I am now going through all of this changes. Could you try the following (so that OEE shows up):
change this in the helm chart
and can you change the image for factoryinsight as well? change it to unitedmanufacturinghub/factoryinsight:redisAndParsingIssues
to do this, you need to go to factoryinsight --> image and add there a new line with tag: "redisAndParsingIssues". if this does not work, try "latest"
@Onur Can KARAMAN - ASO do you know which changes ferdinand did? can you check in the helm chart as well in the deployments / statefulsets for factoryinsight and grafana which image verison of factoryinsight and grafana-umh you are using?
n
@jermuk
same warning if I change tag to latest
d
@nix9786 you could try to put a new line under the
image
field to specify the tag. like this
Copy code
image: unitedmanufacturinghub/factoryinsight
tag: redisAndParsingIssues
j
I created a detailed step-by-step guide on how to fix it 🙂 https://knowledge-3.ghost.io/course/how-to-fix-the-oee-not-showing-up-in-v0-9-11/

Hi Jeremy, I am in the hospital today due to an ailment. If you want, I can leave the PC at the office with anydesk open at 17:00 Turkish time. You can easily look at it. If I have a suitable time frame, I will post what they want.
j
thank you for your answer! feel better! I think we managed to fix it now (see also link above), but I really apprectiate your offer!
n
@Jermuk Thank you for the guide. All my pods are running now, but still I don't see oee related data. May be I am doing something fundamentally wrong....I am injecting state and count from nodered, but I don't see either those or oee showing up in grafana. I see the other metrics like temperature, humidity, pressure etc data, but not about state, count and oee
Hurry, OEE showed up...may be I had to wait for some time. Thank you.
j
Nice that you got it working! Feel free to write us if you have any other questions!
