Are there any stability issues known? Today i had an issue that my databridge came instable. When i deleted the "databridge" pod it worked again for a few seconds. then not
f
How many datapoints approximately are you currently pushing per second ?
d
not that much; 40 ish
f
Ok, that shouldn't be the problem.
Can you check if HiveMQ or Redpanda had any restarts or errors ?
d
I think i'm currently face the same issue
data in hiveMQ but no new data in the kafka topics

if i delete the kafka topic; it gets recreated but no new data gets published
a reboot will probably fix it for a while
(obviously a reboot every x hours this is not acceptable in production)
this is a lifebit here you can see it did retried a few times
f
I would also advise against just deleting kafka topics if there are in use. If there get to full, it's better to just configure the retention policy. Can you check what the log of the databridge says when it no longer sends data ?
sudo $(which kubectl) --kubeconfig /etc/rancher/k3s/k3s.yaml -n united-manufacturing-hub logs -l app.kubernetes.io/name=united-manufacturing-hub-databridge

I think the issues i had before are due too an underpowered machine Fixed for now

I've seen this happen a couple of times out of the blue. I suspect it could be due to underpowered machine (my vm was given 4 cores & 8gb RAM). Here's what my log output looked like: https://app.warp.dev/block/jc7CeH7I9uvv7USPLqzTuj

Yes, I've changed back previous machine and seems to run more (not perfectly) stable now
I've also changed my setup quite a bit I will not use the full UMH on site anymore
