it was the companion and kubernetes that was so slow, we basically "re-implemented" kuebrentes inside of a docker container for more determinism (if you have 200 servers, it doesnt matter if the pod creation sometimes can take up to 3min, but if you have only one, the expectation is that it is done within seconds. kubernetes cannot do that)
