Hi guys, not quite sure where to start, but the long story short - this is my first experience with the UMH - I'm trying to install it on Proxmox running on an old desktop PC. I followed this manual https://umh.docs.umh.app/docs/production-guide/installation/flatcar-installation/ and all in theory went as expected, but I don't think much of the UMH related stuff was effectively installed, e.g. checking status('systemctl status') of installer / k3s, etc. couldn't recognize the commands. I thought, oh well, let's try to install the UHM using the command generated by the Management Console. With some hiccups (e.g. waiting for 'kube-system namespace does not have pods running' to timeout), the installation finished fine. However, I now see the warnings in the Management Console - is this something I should worry about? Also, for someone who is IT-aware, but comes from the automation world what are the must-have tools to get familiar with before I can feel comfortable with the UMH? Thanks!

Hi I recommed to switch out Flatcar for Ubuntu https://learn.umh.app/course/installing-the-united-manufacturing-hub-on-ubuntu/ or Rocky linux 🙂

These warnings are normal at the moment. We are working on reducing them 🙂 flatcar is currently only supported for enterprise customers, and we recommend using rocky linux instead. this should not make a difference though for the first weeks / months working with UMH 🙂 it jsut something one should consider when scaling it up in production
in general, there are currently a lot of warnings. some are unnecessary (and we will reduce them), some are more of "warning before using it in production"
