Yes. this will need to use dual outputs so one goes to the machine and one to mqtt for response messages. For retry i would have settings for autoRetry, retryAttempts and retryTimeout. Maybe a predictedResponseDelay where you set the a predicted time you expect a response before it will retry.. The "notBefore" and "notAfter" i don't see the use of. if you have an expeted time for response you will then handle what to do after that.. maybe cancelAfterRetryFail or unsetValueOnFail. i have now Siemens S7-200, S7-300, S7-1200 and Beckhoff CX7000 (and also an old beckhoff) to play with which can be used for testing. I can also run OPC-UA and modbus on them.
