I installed Ubuntu 22.04 on bare metal and and then UMH. That went fine, but still have high CPU usage from the redpanda process. So I have ruled out virtual machine issues as the reason. Maybe this is not a problem, I just would like to know if this is expected behavior - I didn't notice it on previous versions of UMH.
