yes lorawan i really good. we have 2 gateways up now and will put up a third for full coverage but due to limitations in the license free frequencies you have limited airtime so you can not send data at to short intervals which can be a problem in some cases.. We could go for wired but it demands pulling out a lot of cables which can be quite expensive in our factory where the cable gates is high up and there are machines everywhere.. We go for cables for the machine where we have a lot of data and it makes sense but for retrofittning machines with 3-4 digital signals i feel wireless is a better option.
