i am running an old isel IPC25 with a quad core celeron running at 1.6GHz and 8Gb ram which works fine.. It is on the limit when running Homeassistant at the same time, but it works for now.. Your Nuc will probably perform way better.. I hade some large HP servers i am thinking of converting to but i feels a bit overkill.. I think for my home use a NUC will be a good option..
