SQL works fine.. I use both SQL and the umh-datasource in grafana.. The umh-datasource is really handy when you use the underscore syntax.. I use it to group data so it is easily found.. It is very easy to use, i have set it as default datasource so my boss learned to create dashboards in minutes.. That was really convenient for me since i don't want to do frontend..
