90% of the pilot/POC jobs I work on want to 1) Start and stop jobs based on the schedule from the ERP 2) Calculate OEE, as automatically as possible 3) all on Permise to start. that is normally over a 10week project, on 5 to 10 lines. very quickly they want to be able to make custom reports( need to be very low code) They often want to be able to see 100% at the start of a process, and as materials pass through the plant see where the waste goes, Lets imagine 1 tonne of wood is loaded at the start of a process and 500kg of matches comes out, some can be done through measuring waste directly some is bey looking at the difference between the input of process A and Process B . If UMH can help me solve that problem quickly then I'm in and can expand as needed over time. but I if I use Ignition to solve the first problem then I am unlikely to integrate UMH.
